Reggie Bush

I never liked him as a #1 pick. Good for the Texans they felt the same. Although he seems very respectful and well spoken in all interviews maybe his "football ego" would be too much.

No. 2 overall pick and Heisman Trophy-winning running back Reggie Bush not only appears headed for a holdout with the New Orleans Saints, a league source said Bush is toying with the idea of sitting out the entire season and going back in the draft in 2007 if he doesn't get his price.

They really should consider just giving him the extra money as the top pick. The saints need the guy, its more than just his contract, its the revenue that will be brought in by Bush putting butts in the seats. With Brees, Bush, McCallister, and Joe Horn, the saints are actually worth the price of admission right now. That city needs Reggie Bush and an extra million or two spent will be worth more than losing the guy to the draft.

all that you say is true about putting butts in the seats but Bush also should be a good "citizen" to a city that is still trying to recover from one of the worst natural disasters the country has seen. I hope he will be a huge part of the community getting back on it's feet if he insist that extra million is worth putting the city in that position

He donated alot of money that he has made off of jersey sales to give back to the city. Im not even a fan, I think he sort of screwed USC with his parents getting that house for free but nonetheless, new orleans needs him.
